This course is designed for all owners and operators of water system involved with the tapping and chlorination of water mains. The course will review tapping and main disinfection methods and techniques.. Proper tapping procedures will be explained and demonstrated utilizing a variety of tools and equipment. It will review tapping methods on various pipe material. Attendees will have a hands-on-opportunity to tap a main. The course will also discuss and review methods to properly disinfect a main after repair.
