This course is designed for water operators working at facilities that provide groundwater and operators from system that purchase from a groundwater source. The Groundwater Rule goes into effect on December 1, 2009. This course will review regulatory requirements including Triggered Monitoring, Assessment Monitoring and Corrective Actions. It will also discuss how Connecticut and Rhode Island plan to implement this regulation and what preparation a system should make before the rules go into effect. The course will also review case studies.
