This course is designed for treatment and distribution operators and wastewater treatment and collection system operators. It will present basic hydraulic concepts and principles as they apply to water and wastewater system operators. Topics covered will include fluid properties of water, flow velocity and pressure. It will also review the operation of hydraulic pumps, valves, flow meters and gauges.
