This course is designed for all water operators. It will cover the basics of backflow prevention and cross connection control. It will review the conditions under which backflow can occur and the public health implications of a water system contamination incident. In addition, the course will review types of cross connection control devices including their applications and limitations.
This course is sponsored by the Rhode Island State Revolving Loan Fund (RISRF) and HEALTH and is FREE to all Rhode Island Operators.
