This course is designed for water and wastewater personnel that work in or around confined spaces. It will review the regulatory requirements of a confined space program, as well as the tools and equipment used for entry into Permit Required Confined Spaces.

At end of ramp, turn left onto Middle St. and continue to stop sign at intersection with Country Club Road. Take a left and proceed approximately 1.1 miles to Higby Road (Moody School is on left at the intersection). Turn right onto Higby Road and follow to traffic light at Rt. 66. Cross Rt. 66 and continue down Jackson Hill Road. Take a left onto Main Street. The Community Center is located at 405 Main Street.From I-91 North (New Haven), take Exit 18 (Rt. 66, Middlefield, Middletown). Follow Rt. 66 East into Middlefield to the junction with Rt. 147. Take a right onto Rt. 147 South and proceed to junction with Rt. 157. Turn left onto Rt. 157 North till it become Main Street. The Community Center is located at 405 Main Street.From the East (Middletown, Rt. 9)Follow Rt. 66 West into Middlefield. At the traffic light at the junction with Jackson Hill Road, turn left and continue down Jackson Hill Road. Take a left onto Main Street. The Community Center is located at 405 Main Street. From the West (Waterbury)Follow I-691 through Meriden. At the intersection with I-91, the road changes to Rt.66. Continue on Rt. 66 toward Middlefield, Middletown to the junction with Rt. 147. Take a right onto Rt. 147 South and proceed to junction with Rt. 157. Turn left onto Rt. 157 North till it become Main Street. The Community Center is located at 405 Main Street.
