Q: What is a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) and who has to do them?
A: A Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is an annual report that informs water customers about the quality of their water. A CCR provides information on the source of water, the system contact, contaminants detected and gives customers information on how their water system is complying with federal and state drinking water rules and regulations.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (US EPA) Safe Drinking Water Act requires that all community water systems prepare a CCR. A Community Water System is any system serving at least 15 connections and/or 25 people year round.
